Roy Rowe
Chief Executive Officer
At the helm of CSE’s Australasian operations for more than a decade, Roy has set a rapid pace for growth, moving the business forward and stewarding its success and vision in alignment with CSE’s global strategy.
Roy has combined strong organic growth with strategic acquisitions to capitalise on technology developments, high growth industries and new markets. Looking ahead and ensuring innovation investment is guided by the customers’ vision, is Roy’s X factor in CSE’s agility and infiltration into so many critical industries and applications.
A pragmatic and steadfast operator, Roy’s years in Asia, and previous experience within a multinational technology major, saw him work his way up from operations and sales to executive leadership, teaching him the value of the customer across the entire business – this drives his approach and definition of ‘team’ and culture with CSE’s 400+ people today.
An avid AFL supporter, Roy finds balance in his garden, with family or at an AFL game.
Neill Bailey
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Neill is the gatekeeper of critical financial data. Utilising his broad experience and commercial acumen, Neill provides valuable insights and identifies strategic growth opportunities to deliver on CSE’s vision.
Neill has worked in a diverse range of industries over his 20-year career including advertising, financial services, energy and mining. Commencing with CSE Australia as the Financial Controller in 2017, Neill’s continued ability to navigate data and contribute to internal innovation processes have been significant to sustainable growth.
Originally hailing from the UK, Neill thrives working in a global environment and values his role in optimising business performance for CSE’s Australia and New Zealand operations.
In his spare time, Neill enjoys spending quality time with his family, supporting his children at their many sporting events, playing guitar and sneaking in the odd game of poker with his friends.
Gillian Swindells
Group Commercial Manager
Gillian brings strong commercial acumen to the executive team influencing cross-functional teams in their delivery of critical support to the CSE group of businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
With more than three decades experience in risk management, people and culture, quality and business improvement, Gillian aligns business obligations with financial targets in a fast paced, changeable environment.
Adaptable and resilient, Gillian’s previous general management and executive leadership experience drives her strong prioritisation and ability to motivate the departments that contribute to overall business value and profitability.
When Gillian is not focused on a business challenge, she’s taking time out on her boat, heading up to the Kimberley or enjoying the occasional fine whisky.
Alistair Tibballs
General Manager CSE Crosscom
With a keen head for business sustainability and continuity, Alistair has led substantial growth in CSE’s telecommunications business since joining Crosscom in 2018.
Overseeing multiple acquisitions and guiding expansion into new industries, locations and technologies, Alistair’s future vision and competitive strategies have underpinned strong financial performance and good governance across Australia and New Zealand.
Alistair’s passion for the radio communications industry and competitive nature has seen him hold a range of transformational business positions including being a past board member of the Australian Radio Communications Industry Association and technical and sales manager roles for developing and multinational sized businesses.
Outside of work hours, Alistair enjoys spending time with family, travelling and following F1 motorsport where he would like to attend many of the marquee races around the world.
Tony Smoljko
General Manager CSE Uniserve
Tony is a future driven operator, managing a niche power technology business within the CSE group of companies. Leveraging technical and commercial acumen, Tony continues to build a successful business model due to his ability to navigate the exceptional pace and innovation emerging within the power automation market.
Acknowledging the impact he plays in driving the future technology pathway for power automation, preventative asset maintenance and data acquisition, he draws on 25 years’ engineering experience in utilities, mining, renewables and transportation industries to determine CSE Uniserve’s solution set.
When Tony switches off after a busy week, you will find him spending quality time with his family.
Allan Wiemers
General Manager CSE Crosscom Projects
A commercially minded executive, Allan has made an imprint on the telecommunications industry in Australia with RCS Telecommunications (RCST). Since CSE’s acquisition of RCST, Allan has supported the growth and success of CSE Crosscom by extending its reach into major projects. His personable approach to customer engagement and extensive experience has seen him broaden the company’s major project’s footprint in Australia from mining to other major industries where critical communication systems are needed.
Delivering a robust operation across sales, solution design, project management, and financial performance, Allan maintains strong ties across all areas of the business and is proud to still get out on site, keeping his finger on the business pulse.
Allan is a trusted advisor to CSE leadership while continuing to focus on projects that transform the industry.
When not executing business strategy, Allan enjoys watching a wide variety of sports and getting annoyed with himself on the golf course.
