Our History

A business built on continuous progress

CSE Global is an international technology group listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Over the last 3 decades, CSE Global has transformed into a truly global organisation with over 1800 employees and a network of 58 offices globally. CSE, the ANZ branch of CSE Global, now operates a network of 22 offices delivering services to industries such as Utilities, Minerals and Energy, Transport, Infrastructure and Security while helping to build a safe, efficient and sustainable world.

Timeline of Events

Commencement of Operations

1985

CSE Global commenced operations in 1985 as the engineering projects division of Chartered Electronics Industries, the electronics arm of Singapore Technologies (ST). As part of the ST Group’s corporate strategy of encouraging a higher level of management participation and ownership in selective companies, a management buyout was successfully concluded in January 1997.

Public Listing

1999

CSE Global became a publicly listed company with its shares traded on the main board of the Singapore Exchange, since then CSE Global has adopted a global approach for sustained growth.

North American Expansion

2000

CSE Global acquired North America-based W-Industries and has steadily grown the USA-based business via organic and acquired means.

Uniserve Acquisition

2004

CSE acquired Uniserve Corporation, an electrical engineering solutions company servicing the utility and mining industries in Australia. 

W Arthur Fisher (New Zealand) Acquisition

2008

CSE acquired W Arthur Fisher, a leading manufacturer of process control and automation equipment. WAF also provides engineering services to a diverse range of industries. 

Astib (Australia) Acquisition

2011

CSE acquired ASTIB Group, a provider of tailored telecommunications solutions with a proven track record in designing, implementing and supporting large scale, mission critical telecommunications systems for companies such as BHP Billiton, Woodside Energy and Rio Tinto.

Crosscom (Australia) Acquisition

2015

CSE acquired Crosscom, a market leader in providing two way radio communications systems for the transportation, health, government, construction, ports, security and industrial sectors. 

Mobile Masters (Australia) Acquisition

2016

CSE acquired Mobile Masters, a founding partner of the Orion Network, consolidating Orion’s position as a market leader in Australian digital two way radio communications.

Tetracom (Australia) Acquisition

2016

CSE acquired Australian based Tetracom, a distributor of leading suppliers such as Motorola Solutions, Tait Communications and Icom among others. 

Ezicom (Australia) Acquisition

2016

CSE acquired EZI Communications, a specialist in integrated two way radio solutions, servicing the mining, government, civil, energy, industrial and oil and gas sectors. 

Comm8 (Australia) Acquisition

2017

CSE acquired Combined Communications, an expert in communications network engineering and design, civil and structural installation, technical installation and commissioning.

Genesis (Australia) Acquisition

2018

CSE acquired Genesis Communications, a New Zealand owned company specialising in critical communications and integrated business solutions.

RCST (Australia) Acquisition

2019

CSE acquired RCS Telecommunications, a radio communications service provider based in Australia. 

Marcom Watson (Australia) Acquisition

2020

CSE acquired Australian based Marcom Watson, a provider to commercial and industrial users of radio communications and maritime electronics, in addition to broadening its portfolio to include high quality software solutions and custom applications to a range of industries in recent years. 

Gambier Electronics (Australia) Acquisition

2021

CSE acquired Australian based Gambier Electronics, a provider of radios, radio systems and service support. 

General Communications (Australia) Acquisition

2022

CSE acquired General Communications, a New South Wales based leader in wireless communications solutions. 

TL Parker (New Zealand) Acquisition

2023

CSE acquired Christchurch based communications solutions company TL Parker. With 55 years of experience and local expertise, TL Parker broadens CSE’s New Zealand presence.

Linked Group Services (Australia) Acquisition

2024

CSE acquired Mackay-based energy solutions company Linked Group Services, further expanding CSE’s renewable energy capabilities and delivering innovative, sustainable energy and diversification solutions.
